ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had been committed to present himself for accountability.
After the hearing of Panama case – taken up by a five-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Tuesday – the attorney general told the media persons that the prime minister had already announced to present himself the commission.
Ausaf Ali said that the apex court had already taken cognisance over the Panama leaks issue, therefore, ‘the PTI is not justified to hold a protest’.
