GUJRANWALA: A marriage of 14 years old girl was arranged with 60 years old man, in Ali Pur Chatta, a suburb of Gujranwala.
As per private TV channel report, a widow resident of Ali Pur Chatta has arranged marriage of her 14 years old daughter with 60 years old man. After the marriage, the girl had lodged a written application with the local police saying that her mother had forcefully arranged her marriage with old man.
“Her mother wants to get second marriage after the death of her father and arranged her marriage against the payment of Rs 2500 forcefully, however, she do not want to live with old man”, the application added. Sources said that the affected girl has managed to escape after her marriage and reached at the house of her relatives.
