ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz appealed Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) (Doctors without Borders) to immediately provide medical assistance to the thousands of injured Kashmiris in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK).
According to a statement, Sartaj Aziz wrote a letter to the MSF president highlighting the state of medical emergency in IHK that it developed due to Indian brutalities against the unarmed and defenceless civilians.
The adviser requested MSF to immediately provide medical assistance to thousands of injured in IOK and particularly emphasised the urgent need of eye surgeons as several hundreds were suffering from eye injuries caused by the use of pellet guns.
