SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Dr Farooq Abdullah has said that Pakistan and India should sit together and resolve the Jammu and Kashmir issue through negotiations. “I’m not here to discuss the government and I don’t have anything to do with Uri. I’m here to find a way forward,” he said, while addressing a press conference at his residence. Former chief minister Dr Abdullah stressed that he’s looking for a way for peace in Jammu and Kashmir, because one can change friends, but not neighbours. He said that both Pakistan and India must sit down and resolve the issue. “Terrorism increases when there is a strain in ties between two nations. Dialogue can solve everything,” he added.
